Perfect Rider was slow to begin.
Tana's Angel, Bound Two Affair and Launch Time collided soon after the start checking Bound Two Affair.
Black Rose Texas and Tana's Angel collided approaching the first turn checking Black Rose Texas. Black Rose Texas, Bound Two Affair, Bolare and Perfect Rider collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Black Rose Texas and Perfect Rider and severely checking Bound Two Affair and Bolare.
Bolare underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
