A sample was taken from Jessie's Star at the Trainer’s kennel earlier today.
A sample was taken from Brandeen Fi at the Trainer’s kennel earlier today.
A pre-race sample was taken from Thumb A Ride.
Jessie's Star was quick to begin. Brandeen Fi and Easy Tash were slow to begin.
Boycey Road checked off Hot Dot Two approaching the first turn. Thumb A Ride and Doused In Mud collided approaching the first turn. Hot Dot Two faltered on the first turn losing ground and subsequently tailed off.
Hot Dot Two underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
