Track Curator Mr Rob Phillips advised Stewards that the track was deeply harrowed on 1st March 2019.

This meeting was not declared heat affected due to a forecast maximum temperature of 31 degrees. At the start of kennelling the outside temperature was 31.2 degrees. Prior to the running of Race 1, the outside temperature was 32.2 degrees. Stewards therefore ordered that the greyhounds not parade prior to racing, cooling vests were provided at the catching pen, and all greyhounds were required to remain on course for 15 minutes after racing.

Blue Phantom and Bassamos were quick to begin. Crackerjack Gas and Smooth Roster were slow to begin.

Merriview Mach checked off Zipping Berni on the first turn. Crackerjack Gas and Smooth Roster collided on the first turn. Bassamos checked off Nasty Rach on the first turn. Jed Bale and Merriview Mach collided on the home turn. Jed Bale and Merriview Mach collided approaching the winning post.

Zipping Dodge was slow to begin.

Sky Show was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hock and left monkey muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Raging Roy was quick to begin. Kid Lavros was slow to begin.

Heidi Intention and Raging Roy collided approaching the first turn. Invictus Coco and Osiris Child collided approaching the first turn. Raging Roy, Mayhem Express and Heidi Intention collided on the first turn checking Mayhem Express and Heidi Intention.

Stewards spoke to Mr C Trickett trainer of Raging Roy regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Raging Roy. Stewards directed that Raging Roy be boxed first in future events.

Amoureuse and Muzzle Welsh were quick to begin. Tribal Striker and Frankie Moss were slow to begin.

Amoureuse and Muzzle Welsh collided soon after the start. Midnight Mick and Cosmic Brew collided soon after the start. Amoureuse checked off Muzzle Welsh on the first turn. Tribal Striker and Midnight Mick collided on the first turn.

Last Princess was slow to begin.

Tantalise, Paid Too Much and Vanzant collided soon after the start checking Vanzant and Paid Too Much. Honestly Bob, Tantalise and Hagrid Grange collided approaching the first turn checking Honestly Bob, Charlotte Allen and Hagrid Grange. Paid Too Much and Honestly Bob collided in the home straight. Paid Too Much and Honestly Bob collided approaching the winning post.

Paid Too Much was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Why Not Grace and Pingin' Bee were slow to begin.

Agent Barry checked off Game Spirit on the first turn. Spritely Brew and Three Scoops collided on the home turn. Why Not Grace and Pingin' Bee collided on the home turn. Game Spirit raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Following the running of this race Stewards upgraded the track rating from Slow to Good.

Stewards spoke Mr. C. Darmanin, the trainer of Silly Milly, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Silly Milly last raced on 21/11/18.  Mr. Darmanin stated that the greyhound had changed kennels.

Shamrock Valley was quick to begin. Pillar Creek was slow to begin.

Uprising and Just Like Didda collied soon after the start. Just Like Didda checked off Uprising approaching the first turn. Just Like Didda and Irinka Jenna collided on the first turn checking Irinka Jenna. Slick Brew checked off Shamrock Valley on the first turn checking Silly Milly. Shamrock Valley raced wide in the home straight.

Cool Rage was slow to begin.

Marlise Bale, Storming Vixen and Shadrack collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Storming Vixen checked off Shadrack approaching the first turn. Good Work Johnny and Nessie Bale collided on the first turn.

Stewards spoke to Ms. F. Terry, the trainer of Chucka Khan, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Chucka Khan last raced on 9/11/18. Ms. Terry stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season.

Arthur Watts brushed the rail on the first turn and lost ground. Iona Fire checked off Pinnaroo on the first turn. Monoak checked off Arthur Watts approaching the home turn.

Arthur Watts was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right quadriceps, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Gold Attraction and Caramel Blonde were quick to begin. Dyna Diedre and Chief Command were slow to begin.

Shultz's A Rebel and Run Ronnie Run collided soon after the start checking Shultz's A Rebel. Caramel Blonde and Gold Attraction collided approaching the first turn checking Caramel Blonde, Gold Attraction and Shultz's A Rebel. She's Wicked and Crackerjack Tim collided approaching the first turn checking Crackerjack Tim, Chief Command and Run Ronnie Run and severely checking She's Wicked.

She's Wicked was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right wrist, right back muscle and right quadriceps, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

My Hardaway Hana was quick to begin. Severus Grange was slow to begin.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Zanzeedoo trialled over the 450m from box 1, weight 34.1kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4 of starters. The time of the trial was 25.16, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 10.25L. Zaneedoo was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Heltic Bro trialled over the 450m from box 3, weight 34.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4 of starters. The time of the trial was 25.16, the greyhound won by a margin of 10.25L. Heltic Bro was Cleared. 

Supplementary Report - Healesville 3/3/19

Ebby's Plan, which was scratched from Race 2 at Healesville on 3/3/19, was presented for a veterinary examination at the close of kennelling as requested by Stewards. The greyhound was found to have a right hock sprain.
