Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Auld, the trainer of Hardaway Winnie regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Hardaway Winnie was charged with marring. Mr. Auld pleaded guilty to the charge, Hardaway Winnie is suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

John's Last, Short Leash and Fernando's Boy were quick to begin.
