Steward's Report
Acting on a confirmed telephone call from Ms Kate Gorman, Stevie Dee was a late scratching with permission of stewards at 6:40pm after the greyhound sustained an injury whilst being loaded into the trailer. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Duke Of Burnley and Dr. Mino were quick to begin. Kingsbrae Cheeko was slow to begin.
Pocket Deal checked off River Crossing entering the back straight, causing Shakin' Brave to gallop on Pocket Dial, checking Pocket Dial and severely checking Shakin' Brave. Kingsbrae Cheeko galloped on Pocket Dial on the second turn, severely checking Pocket Dial, Kingsbrae Cheeko and Shakin' Brave.
Pocket Dial underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left sartorius muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Shakin' Brave underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.
