Happy Cruising, Mac's Mayhem and What's His Caper collided approaching the first turn checking Happy Cruising and Mac's Mayhem. Happy Cruising checked off Miss White Wash on the first turn. Happy Cruising faulted and pulled up on the first turn and collided with Bets And Beers, checking Bets And Beers. Offaly Black and Reese Bobby raced wide in the home straight.

Happy Cruising was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Crackerjack Nev and Our Airman were slow to begin.

Sharp Spur and Crackerjack Nev collided approaching the first turn, checking Sharp Spur. Blackpool Ace and Tee Tee collided approaching the first turn, checking Tee Tee. Cruise Control and Blackpool Ace collided on the first checking Cruise Control. Sharp Spur galloped on the heels of Cruise Control approaching the home turn checking, Cruise Control. Island Cruiser and Tee Tee collided entering the home straigh,t checking Tee Tee. Cruise Control raced wide entering the home straight and collided with Sharp Spur causing both greyhounds to race wide. Sharp Spur crossed to the inside and collided with Cruise Control in the home straight.

At the trainers request Sharp Spur was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

This race was delayed approximately by one and half minutes due to the greyhounds late arrival at the boxes. 

Banyuatis and Lightning Seven collided approaching the first turn,  checking Banyuatis. Greg's Choice and Zipping Chance collided approaching the first turn, checking Zipping Chance. Dyna Jules and Big Cam collided approaching the home turn checking Big Cam. Zipping Chance and Dyna Jules collided entering the home straight checking Zipping Chance. Rosta Power and Dyna Jules collided in the home straight, checking Rosta Power. 

Rosta Power was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Midnight Titan checked off Baby Max Fozz soon after the start. Broken Pieces checked off Nellie Shan approaching the first turn. Midnight Titan checked off Baby Max Fozz entering the home straight. Midnight Titan and Baby Max Fozz collided approaching the winning post.

Toss The Dice, Tiggerlong Ray and Ruby Rads collided approaching the first turn, checking Tiggerlong Ray. Awesome Freckles, Rapid Rock and Possibly collided on the first turn, checking Awesome Freckles. Dynamic Street checked off Ruby Rads on the first turn. Awesome Freckles and Ruby Rads collided approaching the home turn checking Awesome Freckles. Toss The Dice failed to pursue the lure with due commitment on the home turn checking Possibly.

Toss The Dice was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Stanton, the trainer of the greyhound Toss The Dice regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Toss The Dice with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Stanton pleaded not guilty to the charge, Toss The Dice was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Hagrid Grange was slow to begin.

Reign Of Omar and Game Spirit collided on the first turn checking Game Spirit. Great Success checked off why Not Maxine on the second turn. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Gibilisco after the greyhound Hagrid Grange was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Mr. S. Gibilisco was issued with a warning and reminded when kennelling he ensures greyhounds are kennelled in accordance with kennel procedure. 

Stewards spoke to kennel attendants, Mr. R. Raven and Mr. M. Hunter after the greyhound Hagrid Grange was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Mr. R. Raven and Mr. M. Hunter were reminded of their responsibilities and asked to ensure that all greyhounds are correctly kennelled in future.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Charlie Bear and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 4.51pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. David Graham was fined the sum of $100.

Winlock Blue Boy and Punt Road Girl collided approaching the first turn, checking Winlock Blue Boy. Completed checked off Dyna Dixon on the first turn, checking Notorious King. Winlock Blue Boy checked off Jimbo's Sox in the home straight.

Ms. L. Farquhar, trainer of Cawbourne Mav declared a new weight of 35.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Cawbourne Mav last raced at 34.6kg.

Stewards spoke to Mr C.Glen, the trainer of Groucho regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Groucho last raced on 6 August 2018. Mr Glen stated that the greyhound is resuming racing following abdominal surgery.

Puffin' Stuff checked off Umar Allen approaching the home turn. Hilux raced wide entering the home straight. Ginza Lion raced wide in the home straight.
