Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Perfect Rider.
Dark Origins was slow to begin. Clovalley Rang, Groucho and Scarlet Magic collided soon after the start checking Groucho. Clovalley Rang and Scarlet Magic collided approaching the first turn checking Clovalley Rang. Dark Origins and Scarlet Magic collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Connell regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Clovalley Rang. Stewards directed that Clovalley Rang be boxed first in future events.
Meeting Comments:-
Track Curator Mr. B. Groom advised stewards that the track was deeply harrowed on 20th February 2019.
During kennelling Stewards conducted a carpark check on all trainers vehicles engaged in todays event. Stewards were satisified that all trailers had adhered to the hot weather transport policy.
Satisfactory Whelping Trial Results - Bound Two Affair trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 26.7kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 22.59, the greyhound was beaten by by a margin of 9.75L. Bound Two Affair was Cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Golden Fernanda trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 24.4kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 22.59, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.25L. Golden Fernanda was Cleared.
