The outside temperature prior to this event was 30.7 degrees, the inside kennel temperature immediately prior to this event when the greyhounds were retrieved was 18.8 degrees. Hawesome was a late scratching at 6.18pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Thordes Pakusch was fined the sum of $100.
