Super Fay and Alice Sprung were slow to begin.

Alice Sprung and Miss Cheekiness collided soon after the start.  Chopping Spuds checked off Delta's Tiara approaching the 200m mark.  Splish Splash checked off Alice Sprung at the 200m mark.  Chopping Spuds checked off Shooter's Ajax at the 150m mark and crossed to the rail colliding with Alice Sprung.  Delta's Tiara and Lightning Seven collided at the 150m mark and again at the 100m mark, checking Delta's Tiara.  Shooter's Ajax and Delta's Tiara collided approaching the winning post.  Splish Splash eased approaching the winning post.  

Splish Splash was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Mr G. Graham declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted.

Stewards spoke to Mr G Graham, the trainer of the greyhound Splish Splash regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Splish Splash with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Graham pleaded guilty to the charge, Splish Splash was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr W. Bocquet, trainer of Cool Punter declared a new weight of 25.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Cool Punter last raced at 27kg.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C Russell, the representative of Olivia's Pearl regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Olivia's Pearl last raced on 6th July 2018. Mr Russell stated that the greyhound was resuming from a right shoulder injury.

Cool Punter and Olivia's Pearl were slow to begin.

Cool Rhonda crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Buddie's Al, Cool Punter, Terrah Round, Merl's Michu and Mt. View Gift.  Terrah Round and Cool Rhonda collided at the 250m mark checking Terrah Round and Merl's Michu.  Merl's Michu checked off Cool Rhonda at the 200m mark.  Olivia's Pearl and Cool Punter collided at the 150m mark.  Merl's Michu and Olivis's Pearl collided at the 100m mark checking both greyhounds.

A sample was taken from Buddie's Al – second placegetter in the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Gorgioski, the trainer of Rocky Rooster regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Rocky Rooster last raced on 22nd July 2018. Mr Gorgioski stated that the greyhound was returning from a fractured left metatarsal injury.

Bela Natali and Kissem were slow to begin.

Rocky Rooster crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Bela Natali.  Guevara and Bela Natali collided soon after the start.  Rocky Rooster clipped the heals of Precious Metal approaching the winning post.

Subscapularis was slow to begin.

Miss Legality and Pinciotti collided soon after the start causing Pinciotti to collided with Hit 'N' Split.  Pinciotti and Hit 'N' Split collided at the 150m mark.  Pinciotti checked off Miss Legality at the 150m mark.  

Flip was slow to begin and crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Shogun Sammy crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Crash Reality and Viewing.  Crash Reality and Shogun Sammy collided approaching the 250m mark and again at the 250m checking both greyhounds.  Just Teffa and Viewing collided at the 250m mark.  Crash Reality, Just Teefa and Shogun Sammy collided at the 150m mark checking Shogun Sammy.

Cut Snake went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Blue Magnum was slow to begin.

Mac Daddy and Johnnie Red collided at the 300m mark.  Cut Snake galloped on Blue Magnum at the 250m mark. Mac Daddy checked off El Grand Richo at the 200m mark. Lanis Morris and El Grand Richo collided at the 150m mark and again at the 50m mark checking El Grand Richo.

Fruit Frames and Tinker Bess were slow to begin.

Pink Tiara crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Catfish Fozz, Fruit Frames and Just Jimmy.  Pink Tiara and Tui collided at the 300m mark.  Tui and Tinker Bess collided at the 250m mark.  Pink Tiara and Tui collided at the 200m mark.  

Quest Allen was slow to begin.

Inga Tom, Quest Allen and Karise Fusileer collided soon after the start.  Quest Allen and Inga Tom collided at the 300m mark.  Karise Fusileer and Inga Tom collided at the 200m mark.  Mirror Max and Sweet Strike collided at the 100m mark.  Karise Fusileer checked off Mirror Max at the 50m mark.

A pre race sample was taken from Violets Are Red.

Lektra Damage was slow to begin.  

Problem Solved crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Alonso Power.  Lektra Damage checked off  Courage Crest at the 200m mark.  Superior Martini crossed to the outside at the 150m mark and raced wide.  Alonso Power checked off Courage Crest at the 100m mark.

Tiny Octane was slow to begin.

Poison Pen and Tiny Octane collided soon after the start. Poison Pen galloped on Tiny Octane at the 150m mark checking both greyhounds.

Poison Pen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained swelling over right hand side metacarpals, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Tiny Octane was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained lacerations on the left lateral hind leg, a 5 day stand down period was imposed
