Incumbent, Juddy Burst and Boston George were slow to begin.
Juddy Burst and Boston George collided soon after the start. Cheeky Cheeks, Elusive Sage, Larkhill Buck and Kraken Lass collided on the first turn. Larkhill Buck, Kraken Lass and Zander's Express collided entering the back straight, checking Kraken Lass. Juddy Burst checked off Cheeky Cheeks approaching the home turn.
