Steward's Report
The Semaphore Board is not fully operational.
Bullbar Gin and Nigel No Friends were slow to begin.
Mischief Maker and Turanza Magic collided soon after the start checking Mischief Maker. Nigel No Friends stumbled approaching the first turn. Bass Boy checked off Bernmar Paul approaching the first turn. Nigel No Friends galloped on the heels of Bass Boy approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds.
Bullbar Gin was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right thigh a10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to K. Blake the handler regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Nigel No Friends. Stewards directed that Nigel No Friends be boxed first in future events.
