The start time for this event was re-scheduled to 8.14pm.
Roman Baroque was quick to begin. Irish Down Under was slow to begin. Saxon and Compact Kiwi collided several times approaching the first turn, checking Saxon. Saxon raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.
Saxon was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a sore right wrist and a grade 1 tear to the left hamstring. A seven-day stand down period was imposed.
