Black Vegas, Sleeve's Revenge, Aurville and Dunstall were slow to begin. Black Vegas checked off Groover Bale approaching the first turn. Sleeve's Revenge, Aurville and Dunstall collided approaching the first turn, checking Black Vegas and Dunstall. Black Vegas, Dunstall and Aurville collided approaching the home turn, checking Black Vegas and Dunstall. Groover Bale and Dr. Sanscha collided on the home turn. Dr. Sanscha checked off Derby Magic in the home straight.
Black Vegas was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.
