Moluma and It's Lockie were slow to begin.
Can Of Worms and Betty's Return collided soon after the start. Can Of Worms checked off Our Jordan approaching the first turn. Moluma faltered on the first turn and pulled up in the back straight. Can Of Worms and Betty's Return collided approaching the third turn. Warranty and My Lee collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Betty's Return checked off Can Of Worms in the home straight.
Moluma was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained and injured right hock, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
