Hoss was slow to begin. Superior Dave and Jimmy's Reach collided approaching the first turn. Bortolotto, Longwarry Lass and Superior Dave collided approaching the first turn. Hoss and Our Miss Ruby collided on the first turn. Ruby Tuesday and Jimmy's Reach collided several times from the first turn to approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.
Ruby Tuesday was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left thigh a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
