Steward's Report
All Revved Up was a late scratching at 11:30am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms. Y. Carter was fined the sum of $100.
Stewards spoke to Mrs C. Haigh, the trainer of Tui regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Tui last raced on 22nd July 2018. Mrs C. Haigh stated that the greyhound had an illness. Mrs C. Haigh, trainer of Tui declared a new weight of 28.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Tui last raced at 27kg.
Mr J. Uglietta, trainer of Ruby's Rosa declared a new weight of 26.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Ruby's Rosa last raced at 24.9kg.
A pre race sample was taken from Tui.
Ethan Zane and Due To Burn collided soon after the start. Tui and Due To Burn collided at the 250m mark. Ethan Zane crossed to the outside at the 200m mark. She Loves Me and Zharnel collided at the 150m mark.
She Loves Me was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
