You Jager was a late scratching at 15:15 on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a laceration above the left eye. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Badelaide Road was slow to begin. Sylo stumbled soon after the start and was very slow (6 lengths). Bashful Boy, Pennyroyal Tee and Refueled collided approaching the first turn checking Refueled. Bashful Boy and Pennyroyal Tee collided on the first turn checking Pennyroyal Tee. Badelaide Road and Holy Storm collided approaching the home turn checking Pennyroyal Tee. Pennyroyal Tee clipped the heels of Badelaide Road on the home turn. Refueled and Badelaide Road collided in the home straight checking Badelaide Road. Holy Storm and Badelaide Road collided in the home straight.

Sylo was vetted and after being re-vetted following event six, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke Mr N.Mason the trainer of Sylo regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start. Mr Mason stated that the greyhound stumbled at box rise and made up ground throughout the event. After reviewing all available footage and acting on their own observations Stewards took no further action.

Big Fat Goalie and La Caprice were slow to begin. Classy Vanda and Aston Tyki collided on the first turn. Punch Out and La Caprice collided approaching the home turn checking Punch Out. Janray Rastus raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight. Punch Out raced wide in the home straight.

Punch Out was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Bombora Rocket and You're Welcome collided soon after the start. Kamchatka Lenny and Treble Clef collided on the first turn checking Kamchatka Lenny and Bombora Rocket. You're Welcome and Treble Clef collided approaching the home turn. Premier Back marred the running of Ebby's Plan in the home straight checking Ebby's Plan. Kamchatka Lenny raced wide in the home straight.

Premier Back was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Merton, the trainer of the greyhound Premier Back regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Premier Back with marring. Mr. Merton pleaded guilty to the charge, Premier Back was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Whipdance was quick to begin. Ruby's Rosa was slow to begin. Krisbar Wee Wow, Whipdance and Chook Richards collided soon after the start checking Chook Richards. Maximum Lara, Krisbar Wee Wow and Whipdance collided approaching the first turn checking Krisbar Wee Wow and Maximum Lara. Chook Richards and Whipdance collided on the first turn. Little Red Hot and Rail Remover collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Rail Remover. Maximum Lara clipped the heels of Chook Richards on the home turn checking Maximum Lara.

Nut And Bolt and Billy Moran collided soon after the start checking Billy Moran. Quest Allen and Cash Or Card collided approaching the first turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr Kevin Eyles, the trainer of Kraken Mazing regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Kraken Mazing last raced on 11th July 2018. Mr Eyles stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being seasonal.

Fabulous Gee, Joycee Rae and Vintage Storm were slow to begin. Violet Blue, Joycee Rae and Vintage Storm collided on the first turn checking Violet Blue. Violet blue and Joycee Rae collided approaching the second turn. Awesome Freckles raced wide in the home straight.

Calen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle. A stand down period of 21 days was imposed.

Moneypenny was slow to begin. Dodge An' Steele, Half Day Harry, Oshkosh Jay and Antarctic Lass collided on the first turn checking Half Day Harry. Half Day Harry and Oshkosh Jay collided approaching the second turn. Ivalise Allen raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Ms. J. Fothergill and issue her a warning in regard to the use of mobile phones in the kennelling area (GAR 44).

Emgee Sprinter was slow to begin. Arlecchino and Why Not Dean collided approaching the first turn. Gunna Be Hoping faltered approaching the first turn and tailed off. Anna Victorem and Nitro Gee collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Billy Swagger contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Emgee Sprinter and Anna Victorem collided entering the home straight checking Anna Victorem.

Billy Swagger was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a back injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Gunna Be Hoping was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right calf injury. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

The start time of this event was adjusted from 6:04pm to 6:10pm as requested by Tabcorp. 

Secret Business, Ginza Lion and Honestly Bob collided soon after the start. Honestly Bob, Flash Apollo, Krisbar Blue Fox and Ginza Lion collided approaching the first turn checking Ginza Lion.

Quando Quando was quick to begin. Chrissy Pee, Gold Attraction and Deep Creek Girl collided soon after the start checking Gold Attraction. Voodoo Hustler faltered in the back straight and tailed off as a result.

Voodoo Hustler was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a broken right hock, and was humanely euthanased.

Hagrid Grange and Urban Ruler collided soon after the start checking Hagrid Grange. Super Stoked and Urban Ruler collided approaching the first turn. Super Stoked, Urban Ruler and Bletchley collided on the first turn checking Urban Ruler which collided with Texas Blaze. Bletchley raced wide in the home straight.

Meeting Comments:-

Satisfactory Trial Results - Triple What trialled over the 425mts from box 1, weight 32.5kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.23, the greyhound won by a margin of 5.25L. Triple What was cleared.
