Blackpool Flyer was a late scratching at 3.05PM due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. D. Kee was fined the sum of $100.

Mowgli Express and More Wit were slow to begin.

Superior Charry, Belle Express and Express Angel collided soon after the start checking Belle Express. Belle Express, Mowgli Express, More Wit and La Coconut collided approaching the first turn checking La Coconut. More Wit and Mowgli Express collided on the first turn checking Mowgli Express. Express Angel and La Coconut collided entering the home straight causing both greyhounds to run wide.

Zipping Eleanor and Sirius Matters were quick to begin. Skeeta Storm, New Sense and Brindle Delight were slow to begin.

New Sense and Skeeta Storm collided soon after the start checking Skeeta Storm. Dyna Jules galloped on the heels of Phoebe's Angel on the first turn which collided with Zipping Eleanor and Sirius Matters. Sirius Matters, New Sense and Skeeta Storm collided approaching the home turn. Skeeta Storm and Phoebe's Angel collided entering the home straight. New Sense and Playlord collided in the home straight.

New Sense was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained right monkey muscle and left foreleg toe injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards issued a warning to Ms M. Lithgow, the trainer of New Sense regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. 

The start of this race was delayed by approximately 1.5 minutes to allow staff to remove plastic debris that had blown onto the track.

Octo Flash, Agent Que and Ben's Talon were slow to begin. 

Octo Flash, Bluey Can Fly and Miss Camelot collided on the first turn. Monoak and Agent Que collided in the home straight causing Agent Que to falter.

Agent Que was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Ms. L. Courts, the trainer of Just Like Didda regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Just Like Didda last raced on the 30th of July, 2018. Ms. Courts stated that Just Like Didda is returning to racing from an injury. 

A pre race sample was taken from Just Like Didda.

Angel Of Glory, Calabrese Bullet and Lou's Dreams collided on the first turn. Crainy's Wish and Just Like Didda collided entering the home straight checking Crainy's Wish. Just Like Didda, Lou's Dreams and Angel Of Glory collided approaching the winning post.

Winlock Newbolt went up with the lids at box rise and lost ground as a result.

Cruising Betty and Still In Play collided soon after the start checking Still In Play. Dyna Gabba and Still In Play collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Gabba. Still In Play and Dyna Gabba collided on the home turn. Winlock Newbolt and Shot Of Spice collided on the home turn. Lady Frekles raced wide on the home turn.

The start of this race was delayed by approximately 1.5 minutes due to an incorrect rug being placed on Mr Pendles.

Dewana Result, Zipping Hayne, Mr. Pendles and Rapid Rock collided soon after the start checking Mr. Pendles. Dewana Result, Rapid Rock and Zipping Hayne collided on the first turn checking Zipping Hayne which lost ground.

Zipping Hayne was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained bruising to the left hock, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Parade Steward, Mr Ian Whitnall after the greyhound Mr Pendles was paraded in the incorrect racing rug . Mr Whitnall was reminded of his responsibilities in ensuring all greyhounds and handlers are displaying the correct number. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration. 

Stewards spoke to Mrs Gail Saunders the trainer of Mr. Pendles in regards to the greyhound being paraded in the incorrect racing rug. Stewards noted Mrs Saunders explanation and issued her with a warning. 

The scanning official was spoken to in relation to the incorrect rug being placed on Mr. Pendles. His explanation was noted this matter will be referred to his manager.

A pre race sample was taken from Nambrok Agent.

Zipping Megan, Miami Fernando, Blue Magnum and Nambrok Agent collided soon after the start. Lireva, Riverdale Danger, Zipping Megan and Daytona Fernando collided on the first turn checking Zipping Megan which collided with Miami Fernando and Riverdale Danger. Miami Fernando checked the heels of Riverdale Danger in the home straight. Nambrok Agent raced wide.

Ok Jake, Spring Ace and Fantastic Bear were slow to begin. 

Spring Ace and Fantastic Bear collided approaching the first turn. Maximum Bliss, Leeroy Rox and Spring Ace collided on  the first turn checking Spring Ace. Ok Jake raced wide on the home turn.

Pyrenees Classic, Tiggerlong Ray and Tiggy Buzzard collided approaching the first turn checking Tiggy Buzzard. Princess Parker, Pyrenees Classic and Tiggy Buzzard collided approaching the home turn. Crackerjack Tim raced wide on the home turn. Tiggy Buzzard, Pyrenees Accclaim and Pyrenees Classic collided in the home straight checking Pyrenees Acclaim.

Mrs M. Magri the representative of Splinter presented the greyhound for a re-vet. Splinter was cleared to race.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Dyna Eleana trialled over the 400m from box 3, weight 26.2kgs, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 23.22, the greyhound won by a margin of 3 lengths. Dyna Eleana was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Golden Jet trialled over the 400m from box 5, weight 30.0kgs, the greyhound was placed third in a field of four. The time of the trial was 23.22, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6 lengths. Golden Jet was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Nathan Hunt, the trainer of Maramba regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Maramba last raced on 4 April, 2018. Mr Hunt stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change in kennels. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Maramba trialled over the 400m from box 1, weight 30.2kgs, the greyhound was placed second in a field of four. The time of the trial was 23.22, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3 lengths. Maramba was Cleared.
