A pre-race sample was taken from Titanium Bolt.
Oshkosh Jay was quick to begin.
Moonquake was slow to begin.
Titanium Bolt and Hammer Red collided soon after the start. Titanium Bolt, Hammer Red, Jan's Star, Blistering Betty and Oshkosh Jay collided approaching the first turn. Hammer red, Oshkosh Jayt and Half A Minya collided on the first turn checking Half A Minya and Blistering Betty.
Hammer Red underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right for toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
