Steward's Report
The outside temperature at race start time was 32.6 degrees, the inside kennel temperature immediately prior to the race when the greyhounds were retrieved was 21.4 degrees.
A pre-race sample was taken from Lucky Omar.
Mac Daddy and Lightning Parade were quick to begin. Dr. Luvdisc and Lucky Omar were slow to begin.
Dr. Luvdisc galloped on Amlin Freddie on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Dr. Luvdisc and Lucky Omar raced wide in the home straight.
Busta Mikado was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr G. Selkrig, the trainer of Busta Mikado regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.
