Amber's Dolly crossed to the inside soon after the start, checking Pure Cool Titan. Amber's Dolly eased, veered out and collided with Pure Cool Titan on the home turn. Pure Cool Titan galloped on the heels of Amber's Dolly on the home turn. Typical Bekim checked off Limburg Sprite on the home turn. Typical Bekim and Amber's Dolly collided several times in the home straight.
Amber's Dolly was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr.G.Edwards, the trainer of Amber‘s Dolly regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Amber's Dolly was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right triangle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Amber's Dolly with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Edwards pleaded not guilty to the charge, Amber's Dolly was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
