This event was delayed approximately two minutes due to wildlife on the track.

Milly's Coconut was quick to begin.  Don's Gas was slow to begin.  Bushranger Boy and Milly's Coconut collided soon after the start.  Bushranger Boy, Milly's Coconut and Cougar Icon collided approaching the first turn checking Milly's Coconut and Cougar Icon.  Happy Cruising and Bushranger Boy collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Milly's Coconut and Cougar Icon collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Bushranger Boy checked off Don's Gas approaching the home turn and lost ground as a result.

Bushranger Boy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no aparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr D Kee, the trainer of Blackpool Flyer regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Blackpool Flyer last raced at Geelong on 26 June 2018.  Mr Kee stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennels.  Stewards questoned Mr Kee regarding the bona fides of the training and ownership of Blackpool Flyer between the period of 28 June 2018 and 1 November 2018.  Mr Kee stated that the greyhound is domiciled at the kennel address he shares with his daughter in law and previous owner Ms S Swan. Mr Kee further stated that he then lodged a kennel return with Greyhound Racing Victoria once he became registered as an Owner/Trainer.  Stewards accepted Mr Kee's explanation but reminded him of his responsibilities in relation to GAR 105(4)(i).

Blackpool Flyer, Ko Mai Si and Toni Toni Toni were quick to begin.  Dyna Dom was slow to begin.  Ko Mai Si, Winlock Shakey and Regal Duke collided soon after the start checking Winlock Shakey and Regal Duke.  Regal Duke, Winlock Shakey, Ko Mai Si and Coyote collided on the first turn checking Ko Mai Si, Winlock Shakey and Coyote.  Blackpool Flyer checked off Toni Toni Toni on the first turn checking Blackpool Flyer, Dyna Dom and Blackwater Girl.  Coyote and Winlock Shakey collided on several occasions from approaching the home turn to entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Regal Duke checked off Toni Toni Toni approaching the home turn.  Blackpool Flyer and Blackwater Girl collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.

A pre-race sample was taken from Renshaw Avenue.

Skeeta Storm, Bets And Beers and Typical Bekim were slow to begin.  Renshaw Avenue and Sky Wesley collided soon after the start checking Sky Wesley.  Bets And Beers and Typical Bekim collided soon after the start checking Typical Bekim.  Skeeta Storm and Bets And Beers collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  La Coconut checked off Sky Wesley on the first turn checking La Coconut, Renshaw Avenue and Zafonic Trevor.  La Coconut and Zafonic Trevor collided approaching the home turn checking Zafonic Trevor.  Renshaw Avenue checked off La Coconut approachng the home turn.

Turbo Tony was quick to begin.  Swift Succession was slow to begin.  Coconut Amore stumbled soon after the start and lost ground as a result (3L).  Flying Moss and Wolf's Nightcall collided soon after the start checkinng Wolf's Nightcall.  Limburg Will and Wolf's Nightcall collided approaching the first turn checking Wolf's Nightcall.

Dyna Fiver was quick to begin.  Cleary Allen was slow to begin.  Cleary Allen galloped on the heels of Eye Am Raven soon after the start checking Eye Am Raven. Cruising Betty and Dyna Fiver collided on the first turn checking Cruising Betty.  It's A Diva and Charlie Bear collided on the first turn checking It's A Diva.  Cruising Betty and It's A Diva collided on the first turn checking Cruising Betty.  Cruising Betty, Eye Am Raven and Riley Allen collided approaching the home turn checking Eye Am Raven.  Notorious King galloped on the heels of Eye Am Raven approaching the home turn checking Notorious King and severely checking Eye Am Raven which fell as a result.  Its A Diva, Cleary Allen and Charlie Bear collided on the home turn. 

Notoriious King was vetted following the event.  It was reported the greyhound sustained abrsions to the left and right forearm.  No stand down period was imposed.

Eye Am Raven was vetted following the event.  It was reported the greyhound sustained a fracture to the left foreleg, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Kayley's Comet and Mayhem Breeze collided soon after the start checking Mayhem Breeze.  Cruisy's Angle and Raine Allen collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Cruisy's Angle and Kayley's Comet raced wide on the home turn.

Eden Lass was slow to begin.  Tiggerlong Boo, Bear Left and Giant Jarvis collided soon after the start checking Bear Left and Giant Jarvis.  Dyna Denver checked off Cavalry Rose approaching the first turn.  Quick Session checked off Cavalry Rose approaching the first turn.  Bear Left, Dyna Denver and Quick Session collided on the first turn checking Dyna Denver and Quick Session.  Eden Lass checked off Bear Left approaching the home turn.  Quena Dee Air raced wide on the home turn.

A sample was taken from Tiggerlong Boo, the winner of the event.

Kissable, Scarecrow Tiger and Rippin' Bartel were slow to begin.  Limburg Gunna faltered soon after the start and tailed off.  Dodge An' Steele and Our Flying Laura collided approaching the first turn checking Dodge An' Steele.  Kissable raced wide on the home turn.

Limburg Gunna was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back muscle injury, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Octo Flash.

Poppy Yaala was quick to begin.  Mrs. Hardwicke was slow to begin.  Unsullied and Lava Lamp collided approaching the first turn checking Lava Lamp.  Unsullied checked off Octo Flash approaching the home turn.  Octo Flash and Poppy Yaala collided approaching the home turn.  Octo Flash raced wide on the home turn carrying Poppy Yaala and Zipping Chance wider on the track.  Mrs. Hardwicke raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Midnight Mck.

Big Tilly, Kimura and Mia Maestro were slow to begin.  Agent Que and Midnight Mick collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Midnight Mick and Kimura collided on the first turn checking Midnight Mick.  Agent Que contacted the running rail approaching the home turn.

Agent Que was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Mr D Graham, trainer of Jean Girard, declared a new weight of 35.5kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Jean Girard last raced at 34.1kgs.

Whatta Lady was quick to begin.  Riverdale Paddy, Aron Allen and Blue Kodak collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds.  Riverdale Danger, Jean Girard, Jimbo's Sox and Bide Your Time collided soon after the start checking Riverdale Danger, Jean Girard and Jimbo's Sox.  Jean Girard, Jimbo's Sox, Riverdale Paddy, Aron Allen and Blue Kodak collided approaching the first turn checking Aron Allen, Riverdale Paddy and Jimbo's Sox severely checking Blue Kodak which fell as a result.

Blue Kodak was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left elbow, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr K Kubik, the trainer of Secret Business regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Secret Business last raced at Traralgon on 27 July, 2018.  Mr Kubik stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennels.

A pre-race sample was taken from Secret Business.

Riverdale Tarzan was slow to begin.  Three Toots and Secret Business collided soon after the start.  Dorset Dasha and Angel Of Glory collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Secret Business and Aston Amore collided on the home turn checking Secret Business, Aston Amore, Dorset Dasha, Riverdale Tarzan and Angel Of Glory.
