This event was delayed approximately two minutes due to wildlife on the track.
Milly's Coconut was quick to begin. Don's Gas was slow to begin. Bushranger Boy and Milly's Coconut collided soon after the start. Bushranger Boy, Milly's Coconut and Cougar Icon collided approaching the first turn checking Milly's Coconut and Cougar Icon. Happy Cruising and Bushranger Boy collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Milly's Coconut and Cougar Icon collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Bushranger Boy checked off Don's Gas approaching the home turn and lost ground as a result.
Bushranger Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no aparent injury found.
