Potere and Our Aqua Blue collided soon after the start. Bossy Caleb checked off Our Aqua Blue approaching the first turn, Bossy Caleb subsequently tailed off. Our Aqua Blue checked off Bill Heeny on the first turn. Potere galloped on Beast on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds. Meehan Roy and Our Aqua Blue collided approaching the home turn. Potere checked off Beast approaching the home turn. Kalani Amy checked off Bill Heeny on the home turn checking Our Aqua Blue.
Bossy Caleb was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back muscle injury, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.
