Azure Herrera crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking She Got Fire, Fabulous Cash, Krystal Parade and Inter Joe.  Yuken Toucan and Inter Joe collided approaching the first turn checking Inter Joe.  Krystal Parade and Fabulous Cash collided approaching the first turn.  Yuken Toucan checked off Azure Herrera approaching the home turn.  Inter Joe galloped on Yuken Toucan approaching the home turn severely checking Yuken Toucan, Inter Joe and She Got Fire.  Yuken Toucan and Inter Joe collided on the home turn.  Krystal Parade and Fabulous Cash collided approaching the winning post checking She Got Fire.

Angie was slow to begin.

Dreamliner and Airly With Grace collided soon after the start checking Airly With Grace.  Lightwood Lass and Sheza Looker collided approaching the first turn.  Double Attitude and Inter Santina collided on the first turn.  Airly With Grace and Inter Santina collided approaching the home turn.  Sheza Looker checked off Lagatha on the home turn.  Lagatha and Sheza Looker collided approaching the winning post.

Romany Girl was quick to begin.

Black Dash Three was vetted following an incident in the catching pen.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the right foreleg, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was takne form Ima Ghost Buster.

Zipping Hayne and Crossfire Icon were slow to begin.

Rockin' Bar Lil and Good Move collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Galloping Bluboy, Ima Ghost Buster and severely checking Good Move.  Galloping Bluboy crossed out and raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Krypto Jam was slow to begin.

Good Odds Ava and Krypto Jam collided approaching the first turn.  Scrumble crossed in approaching the first turn checking Double Black, Speedway Lass and Krypto Jam.  Speedway Lass galloped on Belleperi Miss on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Dr. Dedra and Good Odds Ava raced wide in the home straight.  

A post-race sample was taken from Speedway Lass - unplaced in the event.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Vane Power and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 12.06pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr J. Brown was fined the sum of $100.

Magic Maya was quick to begin.

Bossino and Dewana Result collided soon after the start.  lock Pepper and River crossing collided on the first turn and again entering the home straight.  River Crossing and Magic Maya collided approaching the winning post.

Mr J. Boreland, trainer of Kalani Amy declared a new weight of 27.3kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Kalani Amy last raced at 25.9kgs.

Beast was slow to begin.

Potere and Our Aqua Blue collided soon after the start.  Bossy Caleb checked off Our Aqua Blue approaching the first turn, Bossy Caleb subsequently tailed off.  Our Aqua Blue checked off Bill Heeny on the first turn.  Potere galloped on Beast on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Meehan Roy and Our Aqua Blue collided approaching the home turn.  Potere checked off Beast approaching the home turn.  Kalani Amy checked off Bill Heeny on the home turn checking Our Aqua Blue.  

Bossy Caleb was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back muscle injury, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr S. Mallia, trainer of Koitsenko declared a new weight of 35.3kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Koitsenko last raced at 33.8kgs.

Stewards spoke to Mr P. Derubeis, the trainer of Iona Misty regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Iona Misty last raced on12 August 2018 and is returning from a left hock injury.  Mr P. Derubeis also declared a new weight of 29.6kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Iona Misty last raced at 27.7kgs.
