Ruby's Image was quick to begin. Spring Bomber was slow to begin.
Mepunga Debbie and Primed Engine collided approaching the first turn. Rixy Ya Pest and Bereluke collided approaching the first turn. Rixy Ya Pest, Ruby's Image and Primed Engine collided on the first turn checking Primed Engine. Bereluke and Primed Engine collided approaching the second turn checking Primed Engine. Spring Bomber raced wide in the back straight. Mepunga Debbie and Big Lebowski collided on the home turn. Primed Engine checked off Big Lebowski collided approaching the home turn causing Primed Engine to collided with Spring Bomber, severely checking Primed Engine which became unbalanced, Spring Bomber fell as a result.
Primed Engine was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to right front leg. No stand down period was imposed.
