Hope to Wyn was slow to begin.  Nigel Allen went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (5 lengths).

Flash Fernando checked off Fernando Rocks soon after the start.  Dyna Garner collided with Shanlyn Shiraz on the first turn.  Flash Fernando, Dyna Garner and Shanlyn Shiraz collided several times from approaching the second turn to entering the back straight checking Dyna Garner and Shanlyn Shiraz.  Dyna Garner and Shanlyn Shiraz collided on the third turn checking Dyna Garner.

A post-race sample was taken from Saint West - the winner of the event.

Shanalinga was a late scratching at 8.27am due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Mr. V Tullio was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration card/ weight card were produced for the greyhound Flowing pursuant to GAR 33

Moonie Cyclone, Jessie Fernando and Prancing Turbo was slow to begin.  Lil' Miss Willow was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Flowing and Prancing Turbo collided on the first turn.  She's Got Bounce checked off Flowing on the first turn.  She's Got Bounce checked off Moonie Cyclone entering the back straight.  Moonie Cyclone and Flowing collided in the back straight checking Moonie Cyclone.  Moonie Cyclone and She's Got Bounce collided on the third turn checking Moonie Cyclone, Lil' Miss Willow and Jessie Fernando.  Lil' Miss Willow and Jessie Fernando collided approaching the home turn checking Lil' Miss Willow.  Lacko Allen marred Flowing entering the home straight checking Flowing.

Lil' Miss Willow tired over the concluding stages of the event. 

She's Got Bounce was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left sesamoid and spike wounds to the left fore foot.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr G.Turnbull, the representative of She's Got Bounce regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start.

Lacko Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr M.Delbridge,the trainer of the greyhound Lacko Allen regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1)stewards charged Lacko Allen with marring. Mr M.Delbridge pleaded guilty to the charge, Lacko Allen was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a)before any future nomination will be accepted.

Lil' Miss Willow was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Yandi was quick to begin.  But What For was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Miss Heart and Sweet Gabriella collided soon after the start.  Joshua Rocks raced wide entering the front straight.   Dundee Jive crossed to the rail on the second turn severally checking Yandi.  Joshua Rocks checked off Yandi on the third turn.

Gracie's Colour was a late scratching at 1:31pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a split left hind webbing. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Extreme Summer was quick to begin.   Stylish Missile was slow to begin.

Jazzy Footluce and Ya Ya Ya collided on the first turn.  Tezzalenko and Cosmic Ollie collided approaching the second turn.  Jazzy Footluce checked off Cosmic Ollie collided entering the back straight and collided with Ya Ya Ya checking Jazzy Footlucy and Ya Ya Ya.  Stylish Missile and Jazzy Footluce collided on the third turn.

Nicky Neo and Dat Dat Daty were quick to begin.

Down Mexico Way and Dewana Express collided approaching the first turn.  Miles Per Gallon and Flashing Oaks collided on the first turn.  Nicky Neo checked off Dat Dat Daty on the first turn.  Dat Dat Daty, Nash Road Betty and Reality Hawk collided approaching the second turn.   Down Mexico Way galloped on Nash Road Betty entering the back straight, severely checking Down Mexico Way, Nash Road Betty, Nicky Neo, Miles Per Gallon and Flashing Oaks.

Come Home was quick to begin.  Chill Out Al was slow to begin.

Rains It Pours and Detroit Wally collided on the first turn.  Over And Away and Connor Allen collided in the front straight.  Detroit Wally and Chill Out Al collided on the second turn.  Over And Away galloped on Come Home on the home turn checking Connor Allen, Hayley's Style, Chill Out Al,  Over And Away and severely checking Come Home which stumbled loosing ground as a result.  Rains It Pours and Come Home collided in the home straight.

Come Home was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a mild abrasion on its back legs.

Ruby's Image was quick to begin.  Spring Bomber was slow to begin.

Mepunga Debbie and Primed Engine collided approaching the first turn.  Rixy Ya Pest and Bereluke collided approaching the first turn.  Rixy Ya Pest, Ruby's Image and Primed Engine collided on the first turn checking Primed Engine.  Bereluke and Primed Engine collided approaching the second turn checking Primed Engine.  Spring Bomber raced wide in the back straight.  Mepunga Debbie and Big Lebowski collided on the home turn.  Primed Engine checked off Big Lebowski collided approaching the home turn causing Primed Engine to collided with Spring Bomber, severely checking Primed Engine which became unbalanced, Spring Bomber fell as a result. 

Primed Engine was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to right front leg.  No stand down period was imposed.

Spring Bomber was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to left sesamoid, left wrist and left scapula, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Water Colour, Blue Shadows and Molly Coaster were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.

So It Goes and Lady Spur collided on the first turn.  Water Colour, Blue Shadows, Molly Coaster and Lady Spur collided on the first turn.  Hua Hin checked off So It Goes entering the front straight checking So It Goes and Water Colour.  Hua Hin and Lady Spur collided on the second turn checking Lady Spur.  Molly Coaster checked off Water Colour on the third turn.  Hua Hin checked off Molly Coaster in the back straight.  So It Goes and Molly Coaster collided on the fourth turn checking Molly Coaster and Hua Hin.  Lady Spur checked off Molly Coaster approaching the home turn.  Hua Hin and Molly Coaster collided entering the home straight.

Ms N. Stanley, trainer of Ethics declared a new weight of 28.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Ethics last raced at 27.2kg.

Shanlyn Georgie was quick to begin.

Chochlik crossed to the outside approaching the second turn checking Lonnie Danger.  Ethics checked off Cool Coco approaching the second turn and raced wide.  Chochlik raced wide approaching the third turn, faltered and tailed off.

Chochlik was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right scapula and right wrist, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Lonnie Knight was slow to begin.

Destini Jaguar and Kinmoss Brave collided soon after the start.  Reign Of Omar, Destini Jaguar and Kinmoss Brave collided on the first turn checking Destini Jaguar, Kinmoss Brave and Alonso Mornay.  Han Solo raced wide entering the front straight.  Alonso Mornay and Quest For Glory collided on the second turn.  Lonnie Knight and Sisco Bella collided on the second turn.  Quest For Glory, Alonso Mornay and Kinmoss Brave collided on the fourth turn.  Reign Of Omar and Quest For Glory collided entering the home straight checking Reign of Omar.  Kinmoss Brave and Alonso Mornay collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr G.Turnbull, the representative of Tears I'm Not regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Tears I'm Not last raced on 4th June 2018. Mr Turnbull stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following an extended spell.

Wanchai Express and Ledgerwood Road collided soon after the start. Weeona Pearl and Dreamy Julian collided soon after the start.  Ledgerwood Road and Don't Trust collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Dreamy Julian checked off Weeona Pearl approaching the second turn.  Ledgerwood Road and Dreamy Julian collided entering the back straight.  Don't Trust checked off Wanchai Express on the third turn.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Counting Pennies trialled over the 515m from box 1, weight 30.1, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 29.96, the greyhound won by a margin of 8.75 lenghts. Counting Pennies was Cleared.
