Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Delbridge, the trainer of Winlock Slim regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Winlock Slim last raced on 18th May, 2018.  Mr. Delbridge stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right shoulder injury.

Foxzami Muzza, Primo Beso, Zavier's Monaro and Nettie's Flame collided soon after the start, checking Foxzami Muzza and Primo Beso. Torah's Toy checked off Nettie's Flame approaching the first turn. Zavier's Monaro and Primo Beso collided on the first turn, checking Zavier's Monaro. Torah's Toy galloped on the heels of Primo Beso approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Zavier's Monaro, Torah's Toy and Primo Beso collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds resulting in Torah's Toy becoming unbalanced. Torah's Toy galloped on the heels of Primo Beso in the home straight.

Bobby Ray was slow to begin. Crymelon Rip and Chapta Lee collided soon after the start. Crymelon Rip, Chapta Lee and Murrabit Benny collided approaching the first turn, checking Chapta Lee. Bobby Ray, Evelyn Allen and Damo's Pineapple collided on the first turn, checking Damo's Pineapple. 

This race was delayed by approximately 1 minute due to Queen Of Meereen slipping its collar in the emptying yard and galloping a short distance before being captured. Queen Of Meereen was then examined by the Club's Veterinary Surgeon and was cleared to race. After taking evidence from Handler Ms M.Shaw and taking into account  all the circumstances Stewards took no action against Ms Shaw but advised her to ensure that all collars were tight in future.

 Silver Cupcake was slow to begin. Disco Hips checked off Queen Of Meereen soon after the start. Blackpool Nugget, Lochbrae Moss and Queen Of Meereen collided approaching the first turn. Lochbrae Moss and Queen Of Meereen collided on the first turn. Lochbrae Moss and Queen Of Meereen collided approaching the home turn, checking Queen Of Meereen. Blackpool Nugget checked off Miracles Happen in the home straight. 

A pre race sample was taken from Southwood Ace.

Five Times Table, Ledgerwood Molly and Joffa's Mate were quick to begin. Run Ronnie Run, Gemilly and Southwood Ace were slow to begin. Gemilly and Southwood Ace collided approaching the first turn. Run Ronnie Run faltered approaching the first turn and lost considerable ground. Gemilly and Ledgerwood Molly collided on the first turn. Don Quixote and Joffa's Mate collided approaching the home turn. Gemilly faltered on the home turn, checking Great Success, and tailing off as a result. Ledgerwood Molly and Southwood Ace collided entering the home straight.

Run Ronnie Run was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left groin and right pencil, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Gemilly was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured hock, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Renaldo, Shark Tank, Dashing Dyson, In The Shadows, Loch Mac and Kayley's Comet collided soon after the start, checking Shark Tank, Dashing Dyson, In The Shadows and Loch Mac. Foxy Whip, Kayley's Comet and Renaldo collided entering the back straight, checking Kayley's Comet and Renaldo. Renaldo and Seabrook Eb collided in the back straight, checking Dashing Dyson. Renaldo and Seabrook Eb collided approaching the second turn, checking both greyhounds. Loch Mac and Kayley's Comet collided on the second turn, checking Kayley's Comet and Shark Tank. Dashing Dyson checked off Shark Tank approaching the home turn.

Trium, Seabrook Gem and Firefly Nuts were slow to begin. Tashendo and Succession Plan collided approaching the first turn. Chasing James checked off Succession Plan on the first turn, checking Firefly Nuts. Seabrook Gem galloped on the heels of Trium approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. 

Apache Bro was a late scratching at 12.16pm due to illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

This race was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to Sky Channel commitments at Kawasaki Thoroughbreds.
