Steward's Report
Mystic Grille was slow to begin.
Kurzke, Soho Senorita and Sea Rooster collided soon after the start. Looby Lu, Soho Senorita and Sea Rooster collided approaching the first turn checking Soho Senorita and Sea Rooster, both greyhounds raced wide as a result. Pedro's Vineyard and Mystic Grille collided approaching the home turn checking Mystic Grille. Kaymac Magic marred Smart Maxwell in the home straight and lost ground as a result.
Kaymac Magic was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Looby Lu was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 4, it was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left shoulder and right wrist, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to K. Hunt, the trainer of the greyhound Kaymac Magic. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Kaymac Magic with marring and suspended the greyhound for 3 months (all tracks) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.
