Balboa Express was vetted following the event and re-vetted following race five. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr C Blake, the handler of the greyhound Balboa Express  Stewards deemed the performance of Balboa Express unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Balboa Express must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Cruise Control was vetted following the event and revetted following race nine. it was reported that the greyhound sustained shin soreness to the left and right forelegs, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr W Donlon the trainer of Cruise Control, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Pamela Rocks was slow to begin.

Chill Out Chris, My Girl Sissy, Tiwala Twist and Marvelette collided on the first turn checking Tiwala Twist, Chill Out Chris, Bombora Rocket, Keisha's Boy and Mickie Raven. Chill Out Chris, Pamela Rocks and Bombora Rocket collided approaching the second turn checking Chill Out Chris. Chill Out Chris and Tiwala Twist collided approaching the home turn.

Blue Gene Bowie, Swear Jar and Zipping Chance collided approaching the first turn severely checking Swear Jar which fell as a result. Blue Gene Bowie raced wide on the first turn checking Zipping Chance and Mac's Mayhem. Blue Gene Bowie, Zipping Chance, Mac's Mayhem, Tonk's Treasure and Ethan Zane raced wide in the home straight.

Swear Jar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the second and fourth toes, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Pompadory Parker and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 11.31am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr G Co.uldridge was fined the sum of $100.

Federal Reason was quick to begin. Dyna Dom was slow to begin.

Dyna Boris checked off Perplexing approaching the first turn

Stewards spoke to Mr M D'angelo, the handler of Happy Cruising regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Happy Cruising last raced on 12th July 2018. Mr D'angelo stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a extended spell. Mr D'angelo also declared a new weight of 31.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Happy Cruising last raced at 30.2kg.

Greg's Choice and Chief Long Face were slow to begin.

Happy Cruising, Chief Long Face and Pyrenees Blaze collided approaching the first turn, checking Greg's Choice. Janray Mazel Tov and Greg's Choice raced wide on the home turn.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Noonbarra Jack trialled over the 450m from box 1, weight 31.0kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.63, the greyhound won by a margin of 3.75L. Noonbarra Jack was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Dyna Nancy trialled over the 450m from box 3, weight 27.6kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.63, the greyhound was beaten a margin of 5L. Dyna Nancy was Cleared.
