Stewards spoke to Barry Mcnamara, the trainer of the greyhound Atlas Anonymous regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Atlas Anonymous was vetted  following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right hingleg triangle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Mr Barry Mcnamara with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Barry Mcnamara pleaded not guilty to the charge, Atlas Anonymous was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr Russell stated that the greyhound was severely interfered with on the home turn and entering the home straight. Stewards noted Mr Russells explanation and took no further action.

Jack's Pick was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Punt Road Girl was vetting following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a grade 2 tear to right groin, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Paul Radstock, the trainer of the greyhound Punt Road Girl regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Punt Road Girl with marring. Mr Paul Radstock pleaded guilty to the charge, Punt Road Girl was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mini Sticka was quick to begin. Solo and Markinch Maid collided approaching the first turn. Lexie's Boy and Myrtle Grange collided on the first turn checking Myrtle Grange. Markinch Maid, Solo and Scarlet Magic collided on the first turn checking Solo. Myrtle Grange and Scarlet Magic collided approaching the home turn. Lexie's Boy raced wide in the home straight.

Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers off) - Sketchy Skinny trialled over the 425m from box 1, weight 33.7kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.47, the greyhound was beaten a margin of 5.75 lengths. Sketchy Skinny was cleared to race without blinkers
