Black Shirley was slow to begin. Hypo Chared and Gee Dalton collided approaching the first turn. Rayda crossed in on the first turn and collided with Hypo Chared checking Rayda. No Passengers and Rayda collided on the first turn checking Rayda. Black Shirley and Gee Dalton collided approaching the home turn checking Gee Dalton. Gee Dalton and Rayda collided on the home turn. Aston Liesel faltered approaching the winning post and lost considerable ground.
Aston Liesel was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left hock, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.
