Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Philo Bale.
Pacific Reef, Philo Bale, Surfonic Gold, Hooded Troyer and Striking Gold collided son after the start. Surfonic Gold, Philo Bale and Pacific Reef collided approaching the first turn checking Pacific Reef and Philo Bale. Striking Gold checked off Hooded Troyer on the home turn.
Philo Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards noted that a foreign object was positioned on the track in the home straight, after inspecting the track and viewing all footage available, Stewards were satisfied that the object was a leaf and had no effect on the running of the event.
