Cosmic Collinda, Yogi Mikado and It's A Thrill were slow to begin. Vens Revenge and Weetbix Bites collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Yogi Mikado raced wide on the first turn. Little Dynamo checked off Vens Revenge on the second turn, checking Little Dynamo, Cinnamon Rose, Weetbix Bites and Swansea Ceri.
