Leprechaun Storm and Zipping Bomber collided soon after the start checking Zipping Bomber. No Excuse and King Colt collided approaching the first turn checking No Excuse. Zipping Bomber and Gehring Bale collided on the first turn checking Gehring Bale. Khaleesi Girl and My Bro Regis collided approaching the third turn checking King Colt, Gehring Bale, Leprechaun Storm and severely checking Khaleesi Girl, Zipping Bomber and My Bro Regis causing Khaleesi Girl to fall. Leprechaun Storm and Real Simple collided entering the home straight checking Real Simple.
Khaleesi Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right deltoid injury and soreness to the right shoulder, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
