Yuko crossed in soon after the start checking Scott It and Weeona Bont.  Scott It checked off Bold Reflection approaching the first turn checking Power To Wyn and Little Big Town.  Power To Wyn and Scott It collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Weeona Bont and Bold Reflection collided on the first turn checking Little Big Town and Bold Reflection causing Little Big Town to race wide.  Water Colour and Scott It collided on the second turn checking Scott It.  Power To Wyn and Bold Reflections collided entering the back straight checking Power To Wyn, Scott It and Bold Reflection.  Sisco Dun and Little Big Town collided in the home straight.

Bold Reflection was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent in injury found.

Vital Force was quick to begin.  Poise and Mars Rising were slow to begin.

Vanishka and Panadero King collided soon after the start.  Mars Rising checked off McNeo approaching the first turn.  Zipping Dancer, Lylah's Way and Panadero King collided approaching the first turn.  Lylah's Way and Panadero King collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Poise and McNeo collided on the first turn.  McNeo checked off Poise on the second turn.  Poise checked off Panadero King in the back straight.  Vanishka and McNeo collided on the third turn checking McNeo.  Vanishka and McNeo collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Exhibition trial: - BATTLE OF THE BROTHERS - Pre-race samples were taken from both Rippin' Sam and Torando Tears.  Rippin' Sam started from box 1 and Tornado Tears started from box 3, trialling over the 595mtrs, Rippin' Sam weight 33.5kgs and Torando Tears weight 31.5kgs.   Tornado Tears lead all the way.  The time of the trial was (1st split) 9.20, (2nd split) 23.15, overall time was 33.774. Tornado Tears won by a margin of 2 1/2 lengths.          

Exhibition trial: - A pre-race sample was taken from Wynburn Cutie, Wynburn Cutie trialled over the 595mtrs from box 4, weight 30.1kgs. The time of the trial was (1st split) 9.35, (2nd split) 23.40, overall time was 34.320.

A pre-race sample was taken from Bejarano.

Dashing Dyson and Bejarano were slow to begin.

A pre-race sample was taken from Tahlia's Diamond upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Destini Cavalier, Dyna Yezza and Ocean View were quick to begin.

Khaleesi Girl was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right deltoid injury and soreness to the right shoulder, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Shockwave, Dyna Terror and Alonso Mornay were slow to begin.

Rocket Tears and Shockwave collided approaching the first turn.  Shockwave and Orazzi Ohh collided on the first turn checking Orazzi Ohh.  Rocket Tears and Orazzi Ohh collided on the second turn checking Orazzi Ohh and Alonso Mornay.  Alonso Mornay galloped on Orazzi Ohh approaching the third turn.
