The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Falling In Love and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 1:57pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr A. Farley was fined the sum of $100.

Coconut Gloria was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mr. P. Brown, trainer of Johnny Dunbar declared a new weight of 33.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Johnny Dunbar last raced at 31.8kg.

Ms. B. Berry, kennel representative of Zarbo Hustler declared a new weight of 33.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Zarbo Hustler last raced at 35.5kg.

Dyna Bobbi was quick to begin.  Mickie Raven and Go Didda Go were slow to begin.
