Chief Siyan checked off Banjo Fozz approaching the first turn. Banjo Fozz and Whizzing collided approaching the first turn, checking Whizzing. Chief Siyan and Hollywood Donuts collided on the first turn, checking Hollywood Donuts. Banjo Fozz and Cruise Control collided on the first turn, checking Chief Siyan and severely checking Cruise Control and Hope To Wyn. Hope To Wyn checked off Chief Siyan approaching the winning post.
Cruise Control was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a injury to the right thigh muscle. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.
