A pre-race sample was taken from Dr. Diamontie.
Dr. Toretto was slow to begin.
Turn Him Around and Dr. Diamontie collided soon after the start. Turn Him Around and Dr. Toretto collided on the first turn checking Turn Him Around. Takaho Tiger and Emilia magic collided approaching the home turn. Queen Of Sprite and Dr. Diamontie collided on the home turn. Emilia Magic raced wide in the home straight.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr T. Howell, the trainer of Daicos regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Daicos last raced on 23 November 2017. Mr Howell stated that the greyhound was returning from a triangle injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Daicos trialled over the 400mtrs from box 1, weight 30.4kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.40, the greyhound won by a margin of1 ¾ lengths. Daicos was Cleared.
