A pre-race sample was taken from Flamin' Miracle.
Bye Bye Brad was slow to begin.
New Fire Girl, Sambucca Rose and Bye Bye Brad collided approaching the first turn. Rockin' Bar Lil and Supercity Star collided on the first turn. Flamin' Miracle eased and failed to pursue the lure with due commitment on the first turn. Sambucca Rose checked off New Fire Girl on the home turn. Supercity Star checked off Rockin' Bar Lil. Flamin' Miracle and New Fire Girl collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight. Flamin' Miracle eased and failed to pursue the lure with due commitment in the home straight and collided Rockin' Bar Lil, New Fire Girl and Sambucca Rose.
Flamin' Miracle was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr R. Dunne, the trainer of the greyhound Flamin' Miracle regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn and again in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Flamin' Miracle with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Dunne pleaded guilty to the charge, Flamin' Miracle was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 12 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(c), before any future nomination will be accepted
