Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Raymond Henness, the trainer of Levushka, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Levushka last raced on 5th May, 2018. Mr Henness stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season.
A pre-race sample was taken from Dyna Alice.
Tyche Onyx checked off Muzzle Welsh soon after the start, checking Levushka. You're Welcome galloped on Levushka on the first turn, severely checking You're Welcome and causing Levushka to fall. Muzzle Welsh checked off Whoomph approaching the home turn.
You're Welcome was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left long head triceps (monkey) muscle. A seven-day stand down period was imposed.
Levushka was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.
