Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Oh Nikita and Undercover Viv.
Oh Nikita, Tarquin Bob and Oriental Rhys were slow to begin. Goldielocks Rose, Tuiaki Dora and Undercover Viv collided on the first turn. All In and Tarquin Bob collided entering the back straight. Oh Nikita and Undercover Viv collided on the second turn checking Undercover Viv and Tarquin Bob. Oh Nikita marred Well Armed on the home turn.
Oh Nikita was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Ms. C. McMillan the trainer of the greyhound Oh Nikita regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn. Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Oh Nikita with marring. Ms. McMillan pleaded guilty to the charge, Oh Nikita was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
