Scooter last raced on 7 March, 2018 and is returning to racing following a spell.  Mr Condon also declared a new weight of 28.9kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Scooter last raced at 30.5kgs. 

Smoke 'Em was quick to begin.  Macleod, I'm Neegan and Pink Tiara were slow to begin.  Scooter and Fabredust collided soon after the start checking Scooter.  Pink Tiara raced wide approaching the first turn.  Scooter and Fabredust collided on the first turn.  Macleod and Fabredust collided in the home straight.

Scooter was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Mr Frank Langenhoff the trainer of Conjurer declared a new weight of 33.9kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Conjurer last raced at 32.5kgs.

Sharon's Gold and Elphaba Oz were quick to begin.  Shooters Ali and Chill Out Indy were slow to begin. Chill Out Indy was checked off Owlette soon after the start.  Shooters Ali, Owlette and Final Chimes collided on the first turn severely checking Final Chimes and checking Owlette.  Chill Out Indy raced wide on the first turn.  Elphaba Oz eased on the second turn and failed to pursue the lure checking Darcon Flash which raced wide as a result.  Chill Out Indy and Final Chimes collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Elphaba Oz and Shooters Ali collided entering the back straight checking both greyhounds.  Shooters Ali was checked off Elphaba Oz approaching the home turn.  Sharon's Gold and Elphaba Oz collided entering the home straight checking Sharon's Gold.

Final Chimes was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Busuttil the Trainer of the greyhound Elphaba Oz regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the second turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Elphaba Oz with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Busuttil pleaded guilty to the charge, Elphaba Oz was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a stisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Oh Nikita and Undercover Viv.

Oh Nikita, Tarquin Bob and Oriental Rhys were slow to begin.  Goldielocks Rose, Tuiaki Dora and Undercover Viv collided on the first turn.  All In and Tarquin Bob collided entering the back straight.  Oh Nikita and Undercover Viv collided on the second turn checking Undercover Viv and Tarquin Bob.  Oh Nikita marred Well Armed on the home turn.

McMillan the trainer of the greyhound Oh Nikita regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Oh Nikita with marring.  Ms. McMillan pleaded guilty to the charge, Oh Nikita was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Galloping Wytee was quick to begin.  That Will Be, Mac Daddy, Seeka Moment and Valley Reaper collided approaching the first turn checking That Will Be and Mac Daddy.  Seeka Moment and Bill Heeny collided on the first turn checking Seeka Moment which lost ground checking Valley Reaper causing both greyhounds to race wide.  That Will Be, Bill Heeny and Sambucca Rose collided approaching the home turn checking Bill Heeny and Sambucca Rose.  Bill Heeny and Sambucca Rose collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Valley Reaper raced wide on the home turn.

Seeka Moment was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Prince Stealth was quick to begin.  Shrek's Typhoon and Where's Marcia collided approaching the first turn.  Lightning Lil was checked off Gunmetal Liam approaching the first turn.  Triceps Brachii was checked off Gunmetal Liam on the first turn.  Shrek's Typhoon and Where's Marcia collided entering the back straight checking Where's Marcia.  Prince Stealth crossed to the rail on the second turn checking Prince Stealth, Shrek's Typhoon and Gunmetal Liam.  Prince Stealth and Gunmetal Liam collided on the second turn severely checking Prince Stealth.  Prince Stealth and Where's Marcia collided on the home turn.

Mr. J. Uglietta, the trainer of Ruby's Rosa declared a new weight of 23.8kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Ruby's Rosa last raced at 25.2kgs.

It's Fresh was a late scratching at 1.52pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.   Trainer Mr. G. Orr was fined the sum of $100.

Iona Roby last raced on 5 February, 2018 and is returning to racing following a spell. Mr. Condon also declared a new weight of 29.8kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Iona Roby last raced at 31.0kgs. 

Mr. J. Formosa the representative for Madonya declared a new weight of 26.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Madonya last raced at 24.4kgs.

Iona Roby was quick to begin.  Terrah Fire, Doc Meaney and Dark Stealth were slow to begin.  Doc Meaney was checked off Lucky Gypsy approaching the first turn.  Terrah Fire and Lucky Gypsy collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Dark Stealth crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Doc Meaney.  Madonya crossed out on the first turn and checked off Iona Roby severely checking Iona Roby, Madonya and Hurricane Billie raced wide as a result.

No Sugar was quick to begin.  Promiscuous and Hurricane Blake were slow to begin.  Manila Sprite was checked off Ichiban Fairy soon after the start.  Ichiban Fairy and Terrah Round collided approaching the first turn checking Ichiban Fairy, Terrah Round and Vallexia.  Vallexia was checked off Jen's Magic on the first turn.  Ichiban Fairy and Manila Sprite collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Vallexia raced wide in the home straight.
