Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Condon, the representative for Scooter regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Scooter last raced on 7 March, 2018 and is returning to racing following a spell. Mr Condon also declared a new weight of 28.9kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Scooter last raced at 30.5kgs.
Smoke 'Em was quick to begin. Macleod, I'm Neegan and Pink Tiara were slow to begin. Scooter and Fabredust collided soon after the start checking Scooter. Pink Tiara raced wide approaching the first turn. Scooter and Fabredust collided on the first turn. Macleod and Fabredust collided in the home straight.
Scooter was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. G. Condon the representative for Scooter regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.
