Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Michael Niele, the trainer of Eureka Osti, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Eureka Osti last raced on 7th March 2018. Mr Niele stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season.
A pre-race sample was taken from Splash Da Cash.
Two Mississippi was slow to begin.
Suspicious Lee checked off Splash Da Cash approaching the first turn. Dead Eye Dickson checked off Eureka Osti on the first turn.
MEETING COMMENTS
Satisfactory Trial Results - Zipping Katelyn trialled over the 450m from box one, weight 28.2kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 25.57, the greyhound won by a margin of 1.5L. Zipping Katelyn was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Buy Me Diamonds trialled over the 450m from box three, weight 29.1kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of four. The time of the trial was 25.57, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.5L. Buy Me Diamonds was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr David Good, the trainer of Tonk's Treasure, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Tonk's Treasure last raced on 4 December 2017. Mr Good stated that the greyhound was returning from injuries to the shoulder and wrist. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Tonk's Treasure trialled over the 450m from box eight, weight 28.6kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four. The time of the trial was 25.57, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 11L. Tonk's Treasure was cleared.
