Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Solkhon, the representative of Gateway To Eden regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Gateway To Eden last raced on 15th February 2018. Mr. Solkhon stated that the greyhound was returning to race after a left hock injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Reign Of Omar.
The start of this event was slightly delayed to allow a Bankstown Harness race to be completed.
Blackpool Alexis was quick to begin. Reign Of Omar was slow to begin. Adam Mandam, Sisco Bella and Bumble Bee Bolto collided approaching the first turn checking Sisco Bella and Bumble Bee Bolto. Adam Mandam and Blackpool Alexis collided on the first turn checking Adam Mandam which collided with Sisco Bella, Bumble Bee Bolto and Dorrigo Bale; Adam Mandam and Reign Of Omar were severely checked as a result. Bumble Bee Bolto and Dorrigo Bale collided entering the home straight.
Adam Mandam was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to its left hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.
