Stewards exercised their power, pursuant GAR 31 (3) to extend the closing time of kennels to allow Sisco Yes and Sisco Bella to be presented.  In extending the kennel closure time and allowing the greyhounds to race, Stewards noted this race meeting is usually a night meeting and that the greyhounds were in close proximity to the track. Representative Mr. J. Galea was fined the sum of $150 under GAR 31 (1) for presenting the greyhounds late. 

Emma's Blue Wren was quick to begin.  Banknote and Play That Song were slow to begin.  Banknote contacted the running rail approaching the first turn.  Emma's Blue Wren, Blackpool Tipsy, and Destini Peso collided approaching first turn checking Blackpool Tipsy.  Fascinate Queen clipped the heels of Emma's Blue Wren approaching the first turn.  Blackpool Tipsy, Fascinate Queen, and Emma's Blue Wren collided approaching the home turn checking Fascinate Queen and severely checking Emma's Blue Wren which collided with Spotted Opal; Spotted Opal fell and Emma's Blue Wren tailed off as a result. Fascinate Queen raced wind in the home straight.

Emma's Blue Wren was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to its right hind webbing.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Spotted Opal was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Wok Djay, Twist Allen and Dyna Yasso collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Yasso.  Cut Footluce, Wilkins Allen and Zipping Tex collided approaching the first turn checking Wilkins Allen and Zipping Tex.  Twist Allen checked off Wok Djay approaching the first turn.  Zipping Tex, Jazzy Footluce and Sisco Yes collided on the first turn checking Sisco Yes.  Zipping Tex, Twist Allen and Sisco Yes raced wide in the home straight.

My Boy Joey was slow to begin.  Striking Gold, Riverdale Danger, Whiz and Cool Number collided approaching the first turn checking Cool Number, Riverdale Danger and Striking Gold.  Striking Gold and Riverdale Danger collided on the home turn causing Striking Gold to stumble and lose ground.

Striking Gold was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mister Maker was slow to begin.  Wishing Angel and Hollywood Pearl collided approaching the first turn checking Wishing Angel.  Wishing Angel checked off Hollywood Pearl on the home turn.  Dyna Penny and Aston Veloci collided entering the home straight.

A sample was taken from Go Jotto, the winner of the event.

Mepunga Molly and Coco Spectre were slow to begin.  Undeniably and Surf In Vane collided soon after the start checking Surf In Vane.  Mepunga Molly and Coco Spectre collided approaching the first turn checking Coco Spectre.  Miss Innings and Xtreme Purpose collided on the first turn causing Xtreme Purpose and Mepunga Molly to race wide.  Undeniably and Coco Spectre raced wide on the first turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Solkhon, the representative of Gateway To Eden regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Gateway To Eden last raced on 15th February 2018.  Mr. Solkhon stated that the greyhound was returning to race after a left hock injury.

The start of this event was slightly delayed to allow a Bankstown Harness race to be completed.

Blackpool Alexis was quick to begin.  Reign Of Omar was slow to begin.  Adam Mandam, Sisco Bella and Bumble Bee Bolto collided approaching the first turn checking Sisco Bella and Bumble Bee Bolto.  Adam Mandam and Blackpool Alexis collided on the first turn checking Adam Mandam which collided with Sisco Bella, Bumble Bee Bolto and Dorrigo Bale; Adam Mandam and Reign Of Omar were severely checked as a result.  Bumble Bee Bolto and Dorrigo Bale collided entering the home straight.

Adam Mandam was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to its left hind leg.  No stand down period was imposed.

Rowchester Flash and Sweet Bourbski collided approaching the first turn checking Rowchester Flash.  Mira's Potion crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Dyna Gunner and Mira's Potion.  Hayley's Style and Miss Terindah collided entering the home straight checking Miss Terindah.  Speed Star tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Speed Star was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Immen Bale and Calendar Boy collided approaching the first turn checking Immen Bale.  Dyna Fabrice checked off Oshkosh Yobbo approaching the first turn.  Dyna Fabrice galloped on the heels of Immen Bale approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Oshkosh Yobbo checked off Dyna Patty entering the home straight.

Djarragun was quick to begin.  Ernie's Legacy and Ima Ruby collided on the first turn checking Ernie's Legacy, Jailor Bale and Tamile Lass.  Ernie's Legacy and Paranoia collided approaching the home turn checking Paranoia.  Ernie's Legacy and Big Gee Tee collided on the home turn checking Ernie's Legacy.  Ernie's Legacy and Big Gee Tee raced wide entering the home straight and collided.

Spring Ace and Riverdale Tarzan were slow to begin.  Possibly checked off Disco Lemonade approaching the first turn.  Ima Rockstar brushed the running rail on the first turn.  Ima Rockstar and Possibly collided approaching the home turn checking Possibly, Spring Ace and Riverdale Tarzan.  Possibly and Riverdale Tarzan collided on the home turn severely checking Riverdale Tarzan and Spring Ace.  Ima Rockstar raced wide entering the home straight.

Spring Ace was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to its left hind foot.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Riverdale Tarzan was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to its right calf muscle.  No stand down period was imposed.

Aston Amore was quick to begin.  In The Net and Dum Didee Dum collided approaching the first turn checking Dum Didee Dum.  Discovered checked off Little Women on the first turn.  In The Net, Quick Session and Aston Amore collided on the first turn checking Quick Session, Aston Amore and Little Women.  Dum Didee Dum checked off Little Women approaching the home turn.  Aston Amore checked off Quick Session on the home turn.
