A pre-race sample was taken from Tinderella.
Little Kensi, Gone Early and Maderra were slow to begin. Little Kensi and Gone Early collided soon after the start. Mrs. Jawa, Tinderella and Dyna Maple collided approaching the first turn checking Tinderella and Dyna Maple. Tinderella and Dyna Maple collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Gone Early raced wide in the home straight.
