Zipping Bailey and Often Imitated collided soon after the start. Give Me Wings checked off Poise soon after the start. Valencia Gem and Often Imitated collided several times on the first turn. Libby's Dream and My American collided on the first turn. Valencia Gem galloped on Poise on the first turn. Valencia Gem and Often Imitated collided on the first turn. Valencia Gem and Libby's Dream collided several times on the first turn and again on the second turn. Often Imitated was help up through the third turn. Give Me Wings checked off My American and collided with Mepunga Molly on the home turn.
Acting in accordance with GAR 51(10) (c) Stewards issued a warning to Mr M. Vodagaz, the handler of Zipping Bailey for attracting the attention of the greyhound (whistling) after being placed in the starting boxes.
