Lucina Motief underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left and right hindleg hock and stile soreness.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms Jeanette Spruyt regarding the performance of Lucina Motief in this event.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Lucina Motief must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Trainer, Mr R Henness who had two runners engaged in this event, advised Stewards that he scratched Positive Gearing prior to scratching time after the greyhound displayed symptoms of tonsilitis..

Kraken Jane Babe which lost ground on the first turn underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg shoulder muscle injury.  A 21 stand down period was imposed.
